I started off my Photography journey with offering family photoshoots and I have no regrets! I have met so many fantastic people with many becoming regular clients and I have so much fun doing them. I have a very relaxed approach and focus more on the candid moments rather than posing as all the best moments are the unexpected ones! Don’t worry if a little one is not smiling or if a teenager is feeling shy - it happens but I will make sure to get the shots you are after even if I have to make a fool of myself to crack a smile or two.

Outdoor sessions
For a more relaxed feel, an outdoor session is a good option for those younger ones who don't know how to sit still yet and allows me to capture them having fun and in action. Many have a special place in mind they would like the session to take place at so they can have that sentiment forever.
FAQ
How many pictures will we receive?
This depends on the length of the session but you will receive at least 30 digital images for a half hour session, or 50 for an hour's session.
How should we dress for our family session?
I recommend wearing something nice but also comfortable to wear for your shoot, you want to look your best! I always suggest denim as it is very timeless so will always look great. Avoid big printed logos or football t-shirts if you can as these can be quite distracting in your photos. Another tip is to keep the same colour palette in the family. Also feel free to bring any pets along as they are a part of the family too!
What’s the best time to have an outdoor session?
I recommend between March and October time for outdoor sessions as it's a bit warmer between these months and there is a lot of different colours we can play around with. For example, if you were after a more bright and airy feel I would recommend during the spring or summer but if you wanted a more autumnal palette then I would suggest late October.

How long do I need to wait for my photographs?
For wedding galleries it may take 8-12 weeks to have them ready. Any other session is typically 2-4 weeks.
Do you require a deposit to book?
I require a deposit on the day of booking to secure your date and time. After that the remaining balance isn't due until the day of the session.
